Where is the best place to stay at Bangkok Thailand?
my husband and I are going to Bangkok for a 3-day vacation along with a couple of friends. We're hopin' we could find a hotel with a good service yet affordable (for twin package and 3 star will do) that's accessible (near the best places to see so we wont spend too much time and money on travel) also, is it ok to make our own itinerary and not to avail tour package? thanks

and it is informative, however I don't know what city or region of Thailand I'd be interested in seeing the most. Me and a few friends want to visit in the next few years. What region/cities do you recommend vacationing in for a month and a bit?
I'd like to go preferably when there's little rain and of course no tropical storms.

We're thinking of partying a little, but more so just enjoying the culture change/beaches, maybe do some scuba diving, hiking, swiming etc. So the best region(s) for that would be helpful.

Hi, I will be visiting Thailand mostly for about 12-14 days in January. I may also visit Vietnam....I've heard "various" opinions regarding how to best use a cell phone while on vacation. Currently, I have Sprint, but am wondering if there's a better way to utilize a cell phone (that I will primarily use locally) while in Bangkok and Thailand. I don't believe my current Sprint phone (Sanyo) is SIM equipped. Any ideas on exactly how to go about this...(I don't mind paying a little more for the best method) would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!
