Hi, I'm leaving to Thailand in July for maybe a whole month. I have friends who also visiting there, but they're leaving 2 months in advance. I have to wait two months because I'm am taking college classes. Anyway, I'm black and I know in Thailand that skin color determines if you're good or not. The darker you are, the poor you look. Is that right? I'm very scared of flying alone but I have no choice. Very long flight too! I'm also scared that someone might kidnap me even if I am with my friends. How should I feel about my girlfriend going on vacation with her ex who is now her friend?
I started dating her recently and it is quite serious between us... She had planned from a long time ago to go on vacation with her ex while they were still dating. She told me that if it really bothered me she could cancel but I told her I could not ask her to do that. It does bother me and I cant help but thinking about what could happen.. I stay in touch with her every day so its not like she is forgetting about me but the idea of them spending a week together in an island resort in Thailand doesnt really make it easier nonetheless.. I guess I can trust her and she keeps saying she wishes I was with her and that she cant enjoy it as much without me there. But Im still thinking, what if...since they have been dating before there might still be something there, some kind of attraction. Any tips on how to make this go easier on me because it kinda east me from the inside?

Baiscally I do think that I can trust her...its just that I know guys and I know their intentions are never all that friendly. In it there is a friend of his who says they went on vacations to Thailand together, where he left his wife and the daughter he was raping at home. Trips to Thailand usually take at least a week, wouldn't the mother at home HAVE to have been feeding her and giving her water meanwhile?
Then there's the fact that she had 7 babies from him. Have you ever heard a woman give birth? LOUD as can be, and once the baby comes out, it's bawling like a shrieking banshee. How did the mother not hear that? After SEVEN births?
Then the fact that he had some of those babies living with family memebers. Didn't they ever think to ask... "hey guy, where are you getting all these babies?" I mean, if my cousin shows up with a baby, and I know his wife didn't have one... wouldn't there at least be some suspicion that he was at least running around stealing babies, enough to call police?
Then the fact that she was his wife, and for 24 years she NEVER thought to look in the basement? Who seriously lives in a house for even one MONTH without at least looking around to see all the rooms?
I don't buy the authorities' statement that the wife was not involved. She would have to be Hellen Keller not to find out what was happening, ESPECIALLY to her own daughter!
